Warranty Administrator

The Service Warranty Administrator Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Salary Compensation of between $12,000.00 and $12,500.00.  The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed hours achieved from $0.00 (if no hours are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.  The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

Position Purpose

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for reviewing all warranty repair orders to determine completeness of information for warranty submission. Direct the timely input of warranty information into the DCS/Netstar systems. Also responsible to follow-up on warranty credits, debits returned or refused claims and any other activities that relate to warranty administration. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs dealer self-compliance review of warranty claims.
  • Responsible to review, reconcile, submit and/or re-submit corrections as necessary.
  • Assist in the time-keeping duties.
  • Maintain parts submission schedule to ensure all parts requested by manufacturer have been submitted on a timely basis.
  • Other related duties as may be assigned.
  • On a monthly basis prepare journal vouchers for differences in claim submission.
  • Stay current with all manufacturer warranty information, and training informing service personnel of changes or revisions to policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station 
  • Complies with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required.

  • Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy.
